But just a few blocks down Fatherland Street to that big, beautiful historic storefront alongside of Sky Blue Cafe and Wildflower Salon. Our new home is a very special place with vibes to spare, and there’s a crazy story behind this move that feels like destiny. More on that later and happy to share in person next time you stop by! But real quick, our last day of business at our current location will be next Saturday, June 22, and we hope to be up and running at 700A Fatherland Street by Monday, July 8. Even the address has good mojo energy, right!?
The incredible specs: Around 1800 sq ft, which means a whole lot of space for all of our wonderful wares, in-store performances and readings for your kiddos, and plenty of room to play! We’ll have a larger dedicated back space for all of our classes and workshops. There's also a sweet little backyard for outdoor events and birthday parties; a bathroom, a kitchenette...the possibilities are endless. To top it off, our new landlord is a real mensch!
In the 4+ months at our current location, we've loved getting to know all of you and are so grateful for your support. We cannot wait to welcome you in the new space. As you know, we're retail and much more—a "third place" as they say—so we're always open to new ideas for workshops, classes, pop-ups, and general community hangs. We're so excited to be next door to the yummy Sky Blue and new dinner pop-up concept Setsun East, and as you probably know, that stretch of Fatherland in Historic Edgefield is straight out of a postcard with its gorgeous old homes, leafy sidewalks, and wafts of nostalgic fairy dust in the air. East Park, Turnip Truck, Stay Golden, East Park Donuts & Coffee, Butcher & Bee, Edley's, The Filling Station, Harlan Ruby, High Garden, Coutelier, Clean Juice, The Soda Parlor, Burger Up, and The Russell are all nearby, so we hope you'll work us into your stroller/walking/jogging routes! We feel so privileged to be there and can't wait for you to help us start this new chapter!
