Introducing Tell Me A Story, a cool little deck of story prompts.
Each deck contains 5 sets of color-coded cards broken into categories — character, setting, plot, emotion, and wildcard. Each card lists 4 ideas to choose from. Tell Me A Story gives you the prompts ... your brain kicks in ... and the story takes off from there!
Why this product? Why now? Our co-creator was a burned-out mother in a corporate job who relied on Aesop’s fables and Greek mythology as starters to tell her kids bedtime stories (it was all her mush brain could muster!) Tell Me A Story was born to help all of us connect with those we love. (Also, we dig an old-school, analog activity!)
